SOLID CARBIDE SAWS & RESHARPENING SERVICE

CARBIDE TYPE
- Raw material is a key to cutting success. At W3C, we only use USA made fine grain solid carbide.
- Using proprietary fine grade carbide (other grades are available) our precision manufactured solid carbide saw blade will cut better and last longer than your current saw blade.
- Allow us to supply samples for your evaluation.
CONFIGURATION
- The number of teeth, Flat Ground or Hollow ground with custom primary & hook angles, gullet radius & depths can be matches with alternate chamfers and alternate axial tooth configurations along with various chip clearance designs, with over 50 combined years of experience let our team work with your team to decide which saw is best for your application.
SIZES
- We will fabricate a saw blade to suite almost any application from .500 to 10.0 inches in diameter, with inside diameters from .125 to 5.0 inches and a thickness range from .004 to.500 inches. Send us your prints or slot requirements.
- W3C solid carbide saws are used to slot and dice a wide variety of materials:
- Aluminum Alloys
- Oxygen-free Copper
- Heavy Metals
- Stainless Steel
- Graphite
- Beryllium
- Brass
- Titanium
- Fiberglass
- Composites
- Bronze
- Tool Steel
- Unfired/Green Ceramics
- Silver and Gold Alloys
- Each customer cutting application is reviewed to determine the optimum geometry required for maximum performance. The number of teeth, gullet configuration, primary and secondary clearance angles, rake angle, side surface finish and clearances are engineered for your application In addition to custom saws, W3C provides standard saws in inch and metric sizes.
Gang Arbor Assemblies
- W3C solid carbide gang arbor assemblies will solve your multiple slotting problems. By stacking as few as two or as many as 200 saws and spacers on your arbor while maintaining slot width and pitch tolerances to +/-0.0001 inch and non-cumulative errors to +/-0.0001 inch., we can dramatically increase throughput and improve yields.
- Beginning with an evaluation of your requirements, W3C will design complete carbide saws and spacers (spacers out of carbide or ceramic) to achieve your critical slotting specifications. Saws of varying thickness and diameters can be mounted on a common arbor to generate different slot width and depth requirements in a single operation, eliminating multiple set-ups.
Technical Support
- All assemblies are guaranteed to perform to customer specifications. Both field and internal technical staff are available to assist in developing specifications that will ensure optimum performance.
